Nemours is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse in Nephrology to join our team in Wilmington, DE.
The Division of Nephrology provides treatment to patients including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and/or transplant. Our staff also has expertise in the treatment of hypertension, kidney stones and urinary tract infections, as well as managing the many side effects children experience as a result of renal failure, including stunted growth. We provide family and peer support to help families deal with the stress of kidney disease.
This individual will work collaboratively with physicians, consultants, nurses and other health care practitioners, dedicating his/her specialized practice to patients in Nephrology. Our patient population ranges from newborns to young adults with acute and chronic kidney problems. This role would be based primarily on our inpatient service.
Requirements: • Master of Science in Nursing. • 5 years of pediatric clinical experience. • Must have or be eligible for Registered Nurse in the state of Delaware. • Must have or be eligible for Certified Nurse Practitioner License in the state of Delaware with prescriptive authority.
