The Chief Operating Officer is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer to provide the oversight and direction for designing, implementing, and supporting a network-wide population health management effort. The successful candidate will create/implement the MHP model of care to deliver results under managed care contracts, evaluate FQHCs against standards, establishes performance goals and provides consultation for advancement. Additional responsibilities include building and implementing clinical and operational initiatives using evidence-based practices to drive results across the MHP population, significantly improving care and reducing costs, creating performance expectations, and providing direction, leadership and operational oversight both internally and externally for all population health activities.
•Minimum of seven years managed care experience, with a preference in value-based payment arrangements •Minimum of five years people management experience •Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and implementing electronic information systems to support clinical integration programs and initiatives. •Experience in FQHCs highly desirable.
