PICU Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford provides critical care services to a diverse patient population including solid organ and stem cell transplants, trauma, neurocritical/neurosurgery, ENT, respiratory and circulatory failure and we are an institution that provides ECMO and CRRT support. The role of the PICU Advance Practice Provider (APP) is diverse and is centered around clinical leadership and excellence. Additionally, our program offers non-clinical opportunities that reflect the personal and professional goals of the individual including research, quality initiatives, special projects, and education. Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
Graduate of an NP program accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of California.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of California.
National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from an agency accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties (ABNS).
Additional board certification(s) may be required by certain specialties/departments.
