Valle Verde is unique thanks to person-directed principles and practices throughout campus, reciprocal relationships between team members and residents, and the culture of partnership and service. Our Village (nursing home) team members have blended roles so they can better meet the needs of residents. Examples include CNA participation in meaningful rituals like aromatherapy pressure point massage, made-to-order breakfast smoothies, or the blessing of the body ceremony.
Set 60 lush acres with tranquil walking paths, hiking trails, and outdoor opportunities including pickle-ball, swimming, bocce ball, putting, and croquet.
With over 60 dogs on campus, our Valle Verde dog park allows for much engagement, including three play dates weekly!
Additional amenities include an art studio, wood shop, fitness center, and a second hand store that donates all proceeds to campus. One quarter, the store donated $10,000 in sales to establish the Valle Verde resident-only website, created for and by residents. Decisions are made by more than 30 resident committees, and team members act as liaisons to make things happen.
It's why we love what we do.
