Overview of Job Duties...
Work under the direction of one Radiation Oncology Physician and two Medical Oncology Physicians.
Join a team of two full-time Nurse Practitioners and one part-time Nurse Practitioner.
Advanced nursing care to radiation and medical oncology patients.
Primary responsibility is to provide follow-up care to radiation and hematology/medical oncology patients, including: evaluation of cancer status, assisting in coordination of care for patients under treatment and management of acute therapy side effects.
Reviewing labs and imaging studies, ordering appropriate work-ups, symptom management and writing prescriptions for narcotics.
Inpatient care will be expected (rounding) once the practitioner has completed two years as an out-patient provider. If the practitioner can demonstrate two years or more of experience, then they would be eligible to provide inpatient care.
Work Hours: M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Call: Alternate Weekend inpatient call for medical and radiation oncology patients

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Master’s Degree in Nursing.
1 + years of Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably in Radiation and/or Medical Oncology.
Current Oregon Nurse Practitioner License.
Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
Current National NP Board Certification.
2 openings. Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: We are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus, we will provide reimbursement for obtaining Oregon licensure/DEA
