The Managed Care Finance Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations (including staff education and development) for the modeling and analysis functions for our Acute Care Facilities as well as the strategic development of Managed Care strategy and proposals.
The position is also responsible for supervising the loading, maintenance and auditing of contracts in our claims adjudication system.
The position will be an integral part of the contract negotiation process by providing recommendations to the Managed Care negotiators regarding rates and contract structure.
The position will act as a liaison between our department and Conifer.
The position will help develop standardized department processes (inclusive of policies and performance metrics) to ensure maximum performance of operations.
Bachelorï¿½s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field
5+ years of financial analysis, preferably in healthcare or other complicated industry
Audit/claims calculations experience
Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge, spreadsheet analysis and Microsoft Access
Good knowledge of accounting
Strong knowledge of Managed Care reimbursement methods.
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue and procedure codes
Excellent organizational and communication skills
