Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 475 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to its busy Cardiology department.
This position would be based at our satellite clinic location in Grass Valley, CA (approx. 1 hr. from Sacramento). Flexibility and capability to work independently are must have traits for this role. The successful candidate will see established patients and hospital follow ups, order/interpret labs and diagnostic tests, review event recorders and Holters, respond to phone calls and refill cardiac meds (not narcotics), provide patient education and follow up and respond to patient questions on a variety of medical issues. This opportunity is full time with no call requirement. There is potential to supervise stress testing. All patient care locations have a fully integrated electronic health record system.
