The Managed Care Finance Contract Coordinator is responsible for accurately logging/recording all contracts. The Contract Coordinator will work the Managed Care mailbox daily to ensure that all contracts are timely recorded and distributed for loading. The ideal candidate will be the key person involved with all Managed Care Audits both internally and externally. This position will also be the backup to the Managed Care Executive Assistant.
Strong knowledge of Healthcare Contracts, must be able to read and interpret certain contract terms for bookmarking and uploading into our Contract Management System (nThrive fka MedAssets)
Must be able to read the Contract terms in order to input into our Database for tracking
Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees for loading into the Contract Management System
Handle both hardcopy and electronic filing processes
Maintain detailed and organized files
Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, fee schedules
Attention to detail when pulling contracts for internal and external audits
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel must be able to create Pivots and vlookups
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word with the ability to perform Mail Merge
Ability to convert documents to and from PDF
Peer review for Analysts during heavy contract loading times
Admin duties to include: Answering phones, checking & sorting mail, signing for FedEx, ordering coding books
Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities while meeting deadlines
Effective communication both internally and externally is extremely important
Must be able to work with confidential information. Accuracy is essential.
Must be detailed oriented
Education:High School Diploma
1 year of experience required.
Maintain Contracts Database and distributions of Agreements timely and accurately.
Work internal and external audits timely with attention to detail.
