Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System (OKLVAHS), Oklahoma City OK, is recruiting an experienced Transplant Coordinator who holds Nurse Practitioner (NP), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) credentials and license. Ideally, to receive consideration, candidate should have at least 2-3 years of clinical specialty and transplant coordinator experience, with preference given to candidates with current American Board for Transplant Certification (ABTC) credential. The Transplant Coordinator will practice under the guidance and direction of the Section Chief of Nephrology, and functions as a liaison between the patients and staff members of the transplant and referring VA team, and has the primary responsibility for providing direct and indirect outpatient and inpatient driven care for transplant patients in the evaluation, wait list management and subsequent follow-up post-transplant phase of the transplantation process. The OKLVAHS is a 192-bed tertiary care teaching hospital in central Oklahoma, classified as complexity level 1a and academically affiliated with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Must be a Citizen of the U.S.
Must have current BLS and ACLS Certification
Must have current unrestricted U.S. registration or license to practice in specialty
Candidates with 2-3 years of Clinical Specialty AND Transplant Coordinator Experience AND ABTC Certification will be given preference

Expected Salary range for well qualified Transplant Coordinator that is Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will range from $67,557.00 to $132,212.00; and for Physician Assistant (PA) will range from $51,440.00 to $96,978.00; with consideration given to candidate's education, qualifications, credentials and experience
