Overview The NICU at University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital has staff with extensive specialized training and experience to provide stabilizing and life-saving care for sick newborns. Through teamwork and collaboration, we respectfully address the physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs of pediatric patients and their families. Our compassionate, innovative approach has repeatedly received national recognition.In 2020 the University of Minnesota Masonic Childrens Hospital was ranked on U.S. News & World Reports annual Best Childrens Hospitals list. This is the 13 th consecutive year that our hospital has received national honors from U.S. News & World Report. Specialists with University of Minnesota Health are leaders in critical care research and technology. We offer our smallest patients the benefits of receiving care at our nationally recognized academic medical center. The NICU is recognized as a Level IV NICU the highest level of intensive care for neonates comprised of 3 units Small Baby, Med/Surg, and Intermediate Care with the opportunities to advance to higher level acuity. We are a designated March of Dimes NICU Family Support program and have a Neuro NICU with specialized care for babies with neurologic conditions. NICU Department:

This position will be working 60 hours every two weeks on the night shift, 12 hour shifts and every third weekend. The position is eligible for benefits. Provides care to patients with complex NICU needs.
