The Nurse Practitioner participates in comprehensive assessment and management of veterans for the Infectious Diseases Service at Mather VA. He or she is involved in any aspect of the patient care process, including but not limited to identifying and addressing patient needs and providing patient care, ID research, HIV and PrEP care, foreign travel, outpatient IV antibiotic therapy, and population health management under an approved Scope of Practice and Standardized Procedures.
