The Marketing Manager - Media and Integrated Marketing Content (IMC) for the Tenet Strategic Marketing Group (TSMG) will play a central role in Tenet�s continued transformation into a consumer-focused organization. This position will assist in the management of a centralized structure to lead enterprise-wide strategic media and marketing campaigns in support of service line growth initiatives across all markets and acute care facilities.
Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing Content (IMC) the marketing manager will work with home office cross functional teams, hospital marketing leaders, and agency partners to facilitate strategic planning of data-driven healthcare marketing and media plans . This position will additionally build trusting and collaborative relationships with internal and external teams to ensure that strategic marketing and media plans are implemented with the highest quality possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Support Execution
- Oversee day to day media agencies for strategy, execution and measurement of plans and campaigns across all markets
- Work with IMC Director and in coordination with the Director of Multichannel on media strategy, media mix, budget allocation and reporting
- Lead and support integrated marketing campaign development process by working with marketing team channel owners
- Supports execution of marketing plans across all hospitals/markets
- Collaborates with hospital marketing partners to drive enterprise-wide marketing and communications campaigns that provide consistent messaging, differentiated value propositions and positioning within local markets
- Maintain full understanding of Hospitals service line and business priorities, and helps recommend any adjustments to optimize plans
- Understands campaign best practices for efficient and effective direct response marketing for key service lines across the organization
- Partner with the Digital team and Conifer to ensure proper tagging and tracking elements are in place and measured correctly
- Communicates, writes, and strategizes effectively (both in verbal and written form) to translate complex concepts into easy to understand and compelling messages that support a position to key stakeholders and audiences
- Keep Tenet Healthcare at the forefront of digital and traditional media marketing with advanced tactics and demonstrated results
- Manages day-to-day operations of the centralized strategic marketing activities and works to remove barriers, and simplify process to ensure effective coordination between home office and local markets
- Participates in company-wide projects, accurately representing marketing as needed, determines development resources or tools required to deliver against stated project objectives
- Identifies and executes on opportunities to drive new thinking, innovation and cost
- Up to 25% travel
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- Bachelor�s Degree preferred (ideally in Marketing, Communications, or Business)
- At least 5 years of related experience
- Preferred experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns and multiple, complex priorities
- Strong project and agency manager, with a minimum four-plus years of experience
- Solid understanding of digital and traditional media marketing strategies, including emerging trends and attribution models
- Solid understanding of integrated marketing processes and execution of campaigns
- Experience with media ROI and campaign tracking
- Conversion optimization and an end-to-end comprehension of digital marketing to website, lead acquisition to CRM, automated marketing to conversion and utilization of content marketing.

Stays current on the latest trends in health care, including but not limited to physician relationship development, reimbursement, managed care and clinical program development
