Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, the nation’s first accredited Accountable Care Organization (ACO), announces an exceptional opportunity for an experienced health care leader to serve as the Senior Director of Nursing.
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, a physician-owned and operated medical group, offers patients high-quality and comprehensive medical care through a network of providers in the Greater Houston area. The medical group’s 26 multispecialty care centers and a specialized sleep center with over 500 providers and 3200 employees support a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art services. As an established ACO that emphasizes quality, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has focused on delivering evidence-based health care through and an integrated care team delivery approach to patients for more than 60 years.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, Aaron Carlson, the Senior Director of Nursing Services will be instrumental in driving the overall performance, planning, and strategic direction of the patient care services at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. The Senior Director will participate in developing short and long-term strategic planning to actively promote the mission and values of the organization by ensuring quality, patient experience and value goals are met. S/he will be vital to assuring compliance with the state and national regulatory boards and for achieving the quality and cost objectives that drive value to patients and the community. The Senior Director will partner with physicians, nursing staff, and senior leadership to promote positive change within the system and the community Kelsey-Seybold Clinic serves. The Senior Director will also partner with affiliated nursing schools to enhance academic development, externships and practice improvements throughout the organization.
Successful candidates will have at least eight years progressive nursing leadership experience with a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ambulatory care, ASC, or clinic operations. Proven track record in developing relationships with organization stakeholders, physicians, and leadership to implement processes that will support quality outcomes and enhance the patient experience. A nursing degree with a master’s in nursing, business, or healthcare related field is required.
