We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to provide comprehensive care to the Interventional Radiology (IR) service to meet the medical and psychosocial needs of our patients, implement and evaluate standards of care, and participate in research necessary to establish exemplary, evidence-based care. Potential coverage at various New York City sites.
Location - NYC Outpatient locations
Hours: 4days per week, 10 hours shifts with future flexibility for weekends and holidays
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join a team of over 900 NPs and PAs across MSK who are dedicated to delivering compassionate, expert and comprehensive cancer care to patients and families, supporting the mission, philosophy, standards, goals and objectives of the institution and department.

You Will: Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members Provide comprehensive care to Interventional Radiology patients Meet the medical needs of patients Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum
Maintain shared and independent outpatient visits per expected APP division volume, including supporting regional telehealth
Facilitate cases (preop orders/post op orders, check patient related emails, labs)
Be the APP resource for NYC Outpatient needs
Crosstrain with other NYC IR APP team including procedure team
Qualifications needed for a PA candidate are: Graduate from an accredited PA program NCCPA certification, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) Current New Jersey State and New York State license or be qualified for state licensure Experience in IR and ambulatory care delivery models strongly preferred
Qualifications needed for an NP candidate are: Current New Jersey State and New York State RN and FNP licenses/registrations Masters degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) A minimum of3 years of relevant clinical experience Related National NP certification
