Carle Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Psychiatry team in Danville, Illinois.

Position Details Include:

• Monday – Friday, 8a - 5p schedule; option for 10 hour shifts
• Established, outpatient clinical practice
• Opportunity to work in a rural, underserved community
• Psychiatric NP will cover range of patient cases including consults with new patients, ongoing care, medication management
• Collaboration with psychiatrist
• Opportunity to provide care in partnership with local community mental health center
• NHSC certified site in Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) that qualifies for federal loan repayment programs

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification Requirements: 
Current Illinois registered nurse license, advanced practice nurse licensure, and psychiatric certification. Must have mental health assessment experience, positive communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with the health care team and excellent customer service skills.
