Carle Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Virtual Consult Service in Champaign, Illinois.

Position Details Include:

• The Virtual Consult Psychiatric NP will work onsite at our outpatient clinic in Champaign.
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team in providing psychiatric care as a consultant to multiple primary care clinics through a virtual health model.
• The psychiatric virtual consult nurse practitioner responds to consultation requests from primary care provider teams and makes diagnoses and recommendations for treatment interventions and continuity care.
• The psychiatric virtual consult nurse practitioner has a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and education, has a responsibility for ensuring adherence to diagnostic and therapeutic algorithms and protocols, and guarantees an environment of safe quality care.

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification Requirements: 
Current Illinois registered nurse license, advanced practice nurse licensure, and psychiatric certification. Must have mental health assessment experience, positive communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with the health care team and excellent customer service skills.
