The Referral Coordinator Initiative (RCI) Registered Nurse coordinates the review and disposition of consults. Reviews consults, collaborates with Veteran and sending/receiving service to determine site of care. Evaluates resources and trends to support continuous improvement of resource utilization and management of Community Care. The RCI RN is accountable to the Associate Chief of Nursing Services for Specialty Care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
